Thank you very much for participating in the worst conditioned tour in our guiding history. On that day we hosted 22 guests from Belarus, Germany, Ireland, Canada, Australia, USA, Singapore and UK in the heavy rain with strong wind in the first half of the tour time.
Surprisingly in such weather no one who joined the tour from the meeting point, dropped out of the tour meaning our guests could enjoy the tour anyway. So please look at photos taken during the tour to remember the precious time we shared.
In fact, a bad weather doesn’t always cause a bad experience. In this case, we rather find the world is filled with kindness. The strong wind in the heavy rain broke an umbrella one of the guides used. But one guest in the tour helped him fix the umbrella so that he did not have to get so much wet afterwards.
In Japan there is a proverb that Ame futte ji katamaru (After a rainfall, the ground becomes solid.) In other words, “Rain makes ground firm.” Hard condition is the very timing you can learn others’ kindness so you can deepen relationship with others.
Regardless of conditions we go through, this is the tour we can learn precious things from one another. Yes, there is a tough time in our life. But that does not mean it was a bad experience.
